Cruisin on Broad Returns to London KY

Are you looking for fun things to do in London this summer? Head to London, KY for Kentucky's Cruisin' on Broad Car Show. Held very third Saturday from May through September, London's downtown comes alive with the sounds, sights and smells of one of the state's best car shows. Completely free, Cruisin' on Broad gives you the chance to see classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, motorcycles and more on full display, with plenty of family-friendly fun alongside the unique and historic cars.

Cruisin on Broad Details

Cruisin' on Broad will happen every third Saturday for the summer on Broad Street. The car show officially starts at 4:00 p.m. each evening and runs until 8:00 p.m. During that time, hundreds of cars will be on display, motors running, for your enjoyment. Each month a different class of car will be featured, so you are certain to enjoy a different experience each month. In May, the featured class is Corvettes, followed by Mustangs in June, Trucks and Tractors in July, Dodge Chargers and Mopar in August, and Jalopies and Rat Rods in September.

Cruisin' on Broad is held rain or shine, and vendors also participate to make it a fun family evening. Bring the kids, because the monthly Kids' Zone has plenty of room for them to play. If you wish to participate, door prizes, dash plaques and awards for the most distance traveled are offered. Live entertainment makes it an entertaining place to be, even for those who may not have a strong passion for cars.

Plan to arrive to the car show early. While downtown London offers ample options for free parking, they will fill quickly. Also, the event draws a lot of participants, so you will have hundreds of vehicles to see. The current record for Cruisin' on Broad is 250 vehicles, so you will want plenty of time.
